Players 8U through 14U must register by September 15 to participate in the team selection process.

Players 8U through 14U registering after September 15 will be placed on the lowest team for their age level.

1. Go to the USA Hockey website and register each player for USA Hockey membership and pay your WAHA dues. You must do this prior to trying to register for OYHA Hockey. Each player and coach will need to pay the USA Hockey/WAHA fees.  This first registration is ONLY for USA Hockey membership, not OYHA. You need to complete the 2nd step to register for OYHA.

• Go to USA Hockey and click on the “Register Now” link on the top right.
• You must be 18 years old to process a registration…check the box that acknowledges that YOU (not your child) are 18 or older.
• Choose member type Ice Player/Coach.
• Follow the prompts…fill in the data correctly.
• Process payment – Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card).
• Print your confirmation page. It will also be emailed to you immediately after registration is completed. You will need the confirmation number to complete the OYHA registration.
   

1. After each of your players has a USA Hockey Membership Number, return to the OYHA Registration Page. 

• Click on the registration link below. That takes you to the registration website.
• Click "New User" if this is your first time with OYHA; click “Existing User” if you have been with us before.
• Follow the prompts and fill in the data correctly. You will need each child's USA Hockey Membership Number to complete your registration. Information you entered on the USA Hockey site will transfer to our online forms.
• Although it's not a required field, we strongly encourage you include the email addresses of both parents if applicable, as these email addresses will be used for important email reminders from the organization and the rink.
• Process payment via electronic check, Visa, Master Card, or Discover. All families will be required to pay their registration fees in full. Learn To Play may be registered at the same time as older players. 
• Learn To Play or Ice CHIPS players will pay their $300 season fees in full at the time of registration.
  • Equipment is typically available to rent while supplies last for the Learn to Play, 6U, and Ice CHIPs programs.  Dates for equipment fitting will be sent in early October and all equipment is first-come, first-serve. 
  • There is a fee to rent equipment for the year that is partially refundable at the end of the season when equipment is returned.
  • If you join after equipment fittings have occurred, please contact the Learn to Play coordinator. 
• Select whether you want to pay your remaining balance in full on 10/15/2024, or in 5 monthly installments, beginning 10/15/2024. Future payments will be automatically withdrawn from the account with which you register.
• If you have RaiseRight (formerly Scrip) credits from last year, these will be applied against your remaining balance later in the season.
• You can print your registration confirmation page.  It will also be emailed to you after registration is completed.

OYHA is one of the premier organization in the state that offers girls teams at 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U.  Girls have the option of either registering for one of these teams, or registering for the appropriate corresponding co-ed age level. Please feel free to contact the Girls Coordinator if you are a girl looking to play Girls hockey at a level not offered by your home organization.

All 14U (Bantam) and 16U/18U (Midget) level players must register with OYHA in order to be eligible to tryout. All players that tryout will be placed on a 14U (Bantam) or 18U (Midget) level team. If a placed player leaves their OYHA team in order to play for their high school team, that player forfeits the registration and team fees as listed in the OYHA Refund Policy and cannot return to an OYHA team. No exceptions.
