Head & Assistant Coaches Wanted For Ozaukee Youth Hockey Association (Milwaukee Wisconsin Area)
The Ozaukee Youth Hockey Association (OYHA) is looking for coaches for the 2018-2019 season with our main focus being at the 14U (Bantam) level.
The Ozaukee Youth Hockey Association is an all-volunteer organization that offers boys and girls of Ozaukee County (North of Milwaukee) the opportunity to learn the sport of hockey and improve their skills through practices and competition.
Ideal candidates will have played or coached hockey at the high school, junior, collegiate or professional level.
Potential coaches should have USA Hockey certification or be able to become certified before the season begins. All coaches are required to pass a background check and the USA Hockey Safe Sport program.
Coaches Responsibilities:
· Attend all practices/games
· Administer the OYHA on-ice curriculum
· Create a positive learning environment for the players
· Communicate effectively with parents
· Offer ongoing evaluations of the players
· Work in collaboration with other on-ice development directors
· Follow all OYHA policies and procedures
